Flood in Philippines

Just the other day, there was a flood that killed over 90 people. The flood became so hectic, that the own National Disaster Coordinating Council became overwhelmed and didn't know what province to start helping next because one city after another just kept going down. On http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/world/philippines-overwhelmed-by-flood-disaster-20090928-g8ha.html you can see what people were saying about this disaster. On the internet there are blogs on how to help people cope with their loses and help them get back on their feet .

This website is a one for a recovery fund, to help the people who were in this flood. It's really great to see other people blogging about this and trying to help a good cause.

  2. Megan I wish I understood why these disasters happen so much all around the world these days. I agree with you that this disaster has really messed up some peoples lives and they would have to take some time to get back on their feet. Also many this happened to many different areas around the same time. Check out my blog at http://larrygreva.blogspot.com/ and look at my post on the earthquake that happened in Somoa.

  3. Yes, I completely agree with you as to what people are doing to help this country. Several different nations, especially ones from Asia, as a part of the United Nations have also pledged to support and provide aid for all the citizens who are affected by the typhoon. I think that providing aid in the Philippines can really help millions of citizens cope with their loses.
